Everyone takes their turn at the same time and gets 6 coins each turn. You’ll definitely want to hit up the Marketplace to check out new tiles for sale, but heads up! Everyone shares the same Marketplace, and once someone buys a tile, it’s gone for good. When tiles first pop up, they cost 5 coins, but if nobody buys them, the price drops to 3 coins next turn, and then down to 1 coin after that. So, you’ve got to decide whether to grab a tile early at a higher price or wait and risk losing it.
Each tile gives you resources like food, stone, wood, or soldiers, which you can use to blind bid on special tasks that give you victory points. The player who bids the most resources wins the task and the points, but you can’t see exactly how many resources other players have. If you blow all your resources on one task, you might be out of the game for a bit, letting others snag tasks for cheap. By keeping an eye on your opponents’ boards and their bids, you can get a feel for their resource stash and make smarter bids.
But it’s not just about resources and bidding. Tile Titans also has a set bonus system where collecting certain tile combos can get you extra victory points, resources, or special effects.
