Locals started calling them Vambies because they looked like a mix of vampires and zombies.
A group of friends decided to go camping in a remote part of the forest for the weekend. After a week with no word from the campers, one of the parents decided to check out their last known location. It was better than just waiting…
The Infected is a survival crafting game set in an open-world sandbox where players can explore, craft, and build. It features character hunger, thirst, and body temperature mechanics, base building, hunting, item crafting, food cooking, power and electricity management, resource gathering, mining, refining ores, killing AI Vambies, farming, animal husbandry, and a day night and weather cycle, plus seasons and vehicles.
